Based in the Washington, D.C. area, the American Retirement Association is a non-profit professional organization with two major goals: to educate all retirement plan and benefits professionals, and to create a framework of policy that gives every working American the ability to have a comfortable retirement.
As members of the American Retirement Association, the ARA Council for Women and its member participants are part of a larger mission that works toward a fair and accessible retirement system for all Americans. That means an inclusive system, in which all— regardless of demographics —a means to plan and save for retirement.
By working with the ARA Government affairs team, and in cooperation with retirement and financial industry partnerships, we advocate with one voice towards one common goal, the ability for every working American to have a comfortable retirement.
